Principal Sales Enablement Lead

Role Description:

As a Principal Sales Enablement Lead, you will serve as the strategic architect and hands-on driver of Qumulo’s global sales enablement strategy, partnering closely with executive leadership and subject matter experts. In this senior-level individual contributor role, you will own the design, development, and delivery of world-class enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in sales productivity, pipeline health, and revenue performance.

You will operate as a trusted advisor to sales leaders and cross-functional partners, influencing go-to-market strategy and embedding best-in-class sales practices across Qumulo’s global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead Qumulo’s global sales enablement strategy, including onboarding, continuous learning, certifications, and sales methodology adoption.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Channel, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure enablement initiatives align with business priorities and GTM strategy.
  • Own and curate enablement content that improves sales effectiveness, seller development, and solution positioning, leveraging and adapting materials from cross-functional subject matter experts.
  • Embed modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN) into the sales organization, driving adoption through training, coaching, and deal support.
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess enablement impact, using data and feedback to continuously optimize programs.
  • Design and deliver high-impact enablement experiences, including sales kickoffs, enablement sprints, and certification programs.
  • Influence the selection and effective use of sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Highspot, LMS, analytics platforms) to maximize seller productivity and insight.
  • Provide coaching, thought leadership, and enablement expertise across all levels of the sales organization.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience; SaaS or cloud technology experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, global sales enablement initiatives as a senior individual contributor with broad organizational influence.
  • Deep expertise in modern sales methodologies with a proven track record of driving adoption and behavior change within sales teams.
  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The annual pay range for the role is USD $142,000- $214,000 USD

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
