Qumulo is evolving Professional Services from an installation-led function into a consultative center of excellence. As a Senior Consulting Engineer, you will help lead that shift across on-prem, hybrid and cloud environments.
This is a senior post-sales role for someone who can lead complex deployments, shape repeatable delivery methods and enable partners to deliver Qumulo-based services. Success is not just a go-live. It is helping customers and partners realize lasting value from Qumulo.
Lead customer discovery, technical workshops, architecture reviews and complex services engagements
Design and deliver Qumulo solutions across data center, hybrid and public cloud environments
Validate scope, assumptions and level of effort for complex projects
Build migration plans, deployment runbooks, handoff materials and reusable delivery assets
Connect deployment decisions to customer workflows, operational goals and long-term value realization
Train customers and partners using practical, use-case-specific guidance
Help codify best practices, templates and standards that improve delivery quality across the team
Support new product introductions by translating field experience into scalable implementation guidance
Provide field feedback to Product and Engineering based on customer and partner needs
7+ years in Professional Services, consulting, solution delivery, or technical architecture for enterprise infrastructure, storage or data platforms
Strong enterprise storage and data center infrastructure background, ideally NAS or scale-out file environments
Hands-on knowledge of data center networking, including VLANs, LACP, MLAG and related dependencies
Experience deploying solutions in AWS, Azure or GCP
Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Strong Linux and/or Windows systems administration skills
Scripting or automation experience with Python, Bash or similar tools
Ability to lead technical workshops, translate business needs into solution designs and communicate effectively from sysadmin to CTO
Track record of mentoring others and improving delivery quality through documentation, standards or enablement
Experience with hybrid cloud storage, migrations or modernization initiatives
Experience training or co-delivering with partners
Experience supporting rollout of new products or service offerings
Familiarity with Qumulo or similar enterprise storage platforms
This is not a pure install-and-configure role. It is a chance to help shape how Qumulo delivers value across the customer lifecycle while scaling that value through partners, repeatable methods and modern delivery practices.
The annual pay range for the role is USD $180,000- $220,000 USD
Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
